Caitlyn Christensen – Speech-Language Pathologist

Caitlyn received her Bachelors of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She then worked as an educational assistant in a school district’s early intervention program for children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Her positive experiences with the program encouraged her to further her education, and she went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

Caitlyn specializes in paediatric speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language impairments, and ‘late talkers.’ Caitlyn has worked in a variety of settings with clients of all ages, including in schools, hospital outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice. She has experience working with students across the autism spectrum as well as students with a range hearing disorders.

Caitlyn is an energetic clinician who enjoys encouraging and motivating clients, and including family members as active participants in client therapy sessions.
