Sunah is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is Hanen certified for “It Takes Two to Talk,” a family-focused early language intervention.
Prior to obtaining her Master of Clinical Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Western University, Sunah worked as a research coordinator in two research labs at McGill University, where she gained tremendous experience in working with children and their families. During this time, Sunah also enjoyed volunteering as a conversation facilitator for adults with aphasia at the Association québécoise des personnes aphasiques (APQA).
Sunah has worked with various populations (pre-schoolers, school-aged children, and adults) with varying communication needs; more recently she collaborated with families and community partners in order to develop, assess, and achieve functional intervention goals for students in regular and special education programming. As a clinician, Sunah is a proponent of early intervention and evidence-based practice. She approaches every case with optimism and views challenges as learning opportunities. She is passionate about the clients with whom she works, and she actively collaborates with family members in order to meet their needs and interests.
