Melissa Yurani, Speech Language Pathologist

Melissa is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Melissa received her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto.
Melissa has a variety of experience working with school-aged children in the areas of articulation, phonology, motor speech, stuttering, language, and literacy. She also has strong clinical experience working with preschool and school-aged children with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome. Melissa is passionate about parent/guardian training and education. She values a family-centered therapy approach, in which parents and guardians are highly involved in services in order to optimize their child’s success and reach their full potential.
Melissa is dedicated towards continuing education and learning within the speech-language pathology profession, in order to provide high-quality and evidence-based services.
