Games to help fine motors skills

Fine motor skills are movements that require small, calculated movements of hands, writs, and fingers. Fine motor skills are crucial in performing everyday skills such as dressing, using utensils for eating, toileting, using zippers and buttons, writing, and using technology. Without developing an adequate fine motor skill-set a child can experience low self-esteem, lack of independence and his/her academic performance can be compromised.
